Location Worcester
Salary – £14.50 – £16.50 an hour

Hours Monday to Friday Flextime 37.5 per week

Job description/ Main objectives

To assemble the company’s printed circuit boards.
To assemble electrical standard products and modules.

Main responsibilities / Accountability’s

Reads and interprets Bill of Materials and schematic drawings.
Use Soldering Iron to install and/or rework thru-hole components on printed circuit boards.
Inspect and review components and PCB’s prior to and after assembly for quality requirements.
Resolve any assembly issues and communicate the corrective actions with the team leader or engineer as appropriate in line with the company’s ISO quality procedures.
Maintain good paperwork.
Interpreting technical schematic drawings and providing feedback on errors/suggesting changes to originator.
Be able to perform simple wiring tasks (eg loom manufacture).
Must be very detail oriented and organised.
High aptitude to learn and follow instructions with little supervision.
Have good dexterity and vision to move and align small components, sometimes under a magnifying glass or microscope.
Must have experience using hand tools (soldering irons, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, desoldered etc.).
Meet deadlines, be a dependable team player and have good work ethic.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Willing to share ideas on how to improve efficiency & productivity
