Job Role: Production Fabricator Welder

Hourly rate: £13-15 DOE

Hours: Mon – Fri, Days

Wright Staff Recruitment are currently representing an established manufacturing company based in Stourbridge who are looking to add 2 Fabricator Welders to their already established team.

Job description
You will be a confident Production Fabricator/Welder experienced in FCAW welding process in order to assemble, tack and fully weld assemblies using jigs and fixtures
Your duties will include:

• Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings
• Use jigs and fixtures to fabricate mild steel pipework/vessel assemblies
• Tacking and welding of assemblies using FCAW process
• Ability to use JIGs to carry out production welding as required
• Complete welding operations in a productive and efficient manner.
• Visual inspection of components and assemblies to ensure it meets Company standards
• Personally make health and safety a priority ensuring you comply with all Company instructions.
• Any other duties that may fit into the remit of this role as and when required

Skills and Experience

• Experienced Production fabricator / welder
• Experience of working on vessels and piping products
• Competent using FCAW welding process with ability to pass coding as required
• Self-motivated and focused
• Reliable and enthusiastic
• Able to work to deadlines efficiently and accurately
• Able to follow instructions carefully and precisely
• Good understanding of English

Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.03-£14.82 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
